Plain terms for an honest tool.

1. The service

Elegant Polls lets anyone create a poll and collect anonymous responses through a shareable link, with results available through a private management link. By using the site you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, do not use the site.

2. Your links are your keys

There are no accounts. The private management link issued when a poll is created is the only way to reach its results, and anyone holding that link can view them. Keeping the link safe is the creator's responsibility; a lost management link cannot be recovered.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Elegant Polls to:

• Publish or solicit content that is illegal, or that harasses, defames, or targets private individuals;
• Collect data you have no lawful basis to collect, or attempt to deanonymize respondents;
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, its hosting, or its security, or circumvent its abuse controls;
• Conduct fraud, spam campaigns, or distribute malware.

Polls that violate these rules may be closed or removed without notice.

4. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Poll results reflect whoever chose to respond; Elegant Polls does not certify them as representative, and they are not professional advice.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the site operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or business, arising from or related to use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

6. Availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time, and may modify these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the site operator's principal place of business, and disputes are subject to the courts competent for that place, except where the mandatory consumer-protection law of your country or state of residence provides otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited by agreement.
